Concert at National Museum of Scotland

Please give your support to the Early Music Ensemble of QMU as we perform our first recital outwith the campus!

Sunday 11th May - National Museum of Scotland, Chambers Street, Edinburgh (across from Greyfriers Bobby!) from 12.30
The Early Music Forum of Scotland (www.emfscotland.info) have organised an afternoon featuring a few Scottish Early Music groups. Entry is free.
The QMU ensemble will be performing at 2pm for 20 minutes, and again at 2.45.
You are welcome to wander around looking at historical musical instruments, ask awkward questions, point and giggle, etc. You will also hear some very beautiful music from Medieval, Renaissance and Baroque periods. We shall be performing medieval music from France, Renaissance music from Spain, and baroque music from Italy and France.
The museum is also worth a visit!

Hope to see some of you there…

Rob
